PERINATAL NEUROPLASTICITY
“As children develop, their brains “mirror” their parent’s brain. In other words, the parent’s own growth and development, or lack of those, impact the child’s brain. As parents become more aware and emotionally healthy, their children reap the rewards and move toward health as well.”
This 5-session workshop series is for new and expecting parents who want to work with the natural brain changes of parenthood — not struggle against it — using the science of neuroplasticity to build resilience, presence, and deeper connection.
Because our nervous systems are shaped in the first seven years of life, this work invites us to gently examine and rewire early patterns, so we can parent with greater intention and create a more regulated foundation for the next generation.
Workshop 1
Perinatal Neuroplasticity
Goal: Learning what is happening to the Parental brain during the perinatal period and the special gift of nature to rewire the neural patterns for the best of your baby.
Neuroplasticity Exercises : Practicing the basic principles and techniques (line drawing, creating neural patterns).
Technique Focus: Observing the process, the breathing and sensation in the body while creating new neural connections.
Outcome: Build a foundational understanding of how Neuroplasticity can be a tool to shift mental and emotional patterns and give a clear direction for action.
Workshop 2
Managing Stress & Anxiety
Goal: Using neuroplasticity to reduce and transform the stress, anxiety, and overwhelm associated with parenting.
Technique Focus: Practice drawing specific patterns and shapes that turn into needed resources.
Outcome: Learn how to manage stress using a visual expression, which helps reinforce new neural pathways and attitude towards stressful situations.
Workshop 3
Emotional Resilience and Regulation
Goal: Build emotional resilience and focus on self-care using Neurographica as a meditative tool. Neuroplasticity & Emotional Regulation: Understanding how new patterns of thinking can help with emotional balance.
Technique Focus: Draw emotions related to current challenges, such as fear of change, self-doubt, or frustration. Rework the shapes into softer, harmonious patterns.
Outcome: Develop emotional self-awareness and resilience by transforming difficult emotions into balanced visual expressions.
Workshop 4
Problem-Solving & Flexibility
Goal: Using Neuroplasticity to enhance problem-solving skills and mental flexibility for the challenges of parenthood. Neuroplasticity & Creativity: How the brain's adaptability can boost creative problem-solving and thinking outside the box.
Technique Focus: Draw out a specific parenting challenge (e.g., sleepless nights, baby’s feeding, relationship tensions) and create new neural connections to be able to express unexpected solutions visually.
Outcome: Strengthen cognitive flexibility, making you more resourceful, free and creative in everyday challenges.
Workshop 5
Connection, Communication & Building Positive Patterns
Goal: Strengthen connection with others (partner, family, or baby) and reinforce positive thinking patterns.
Technique Focus: Parents draw an ideal future vision of family life or a specific parenting goal (e.g., deeper connection with the baby or partner).
Outcome: Cultivate a deeper sense of connection with yourself and your family.

“A great workshop to take some time and think about what‘s it you want to reach in life (or the near future). As a newborn mother it really helped me to get a glimpse of what I need to do to not forget about my own needs. I highly recommend this workshop to those who are facing a new chapter in life and wish for guidance.”
What You Will Begin to Notice:
You’ll start sleeping more deeply — not because the nights are perfect, but because your nervous system feels safer, and the weight of anxiety begins to lift.
You’ll find more focus and presence in the small, everyday moments — like feeding, rocking, or listening — with fewer racing thoughts pulling you away.
Tension you didn’t even realize you were holding may start to soften, giving you more space to breathe, feel, and just be.
Big feelings won’t feel quite so overwhelming. You'll begin to meet the emotional waves of parenting with more steadiness and compassion.
Your connections may feel richer — with your partner, your baby, and even with yourself — as pathways for empathy and communication strengthen.
You’ll notice more creativity and curiosity in the way you respond to challenges, replacing frustration with flexible, grounded choices.
Mother’s Blessing
A deeply supporting space for the expecting Mother to feel nourished, held, connected and blessed by her Community.
CLOSING OF THE BONES
An Innate Cross-Cultural, Postpartum Practice
Closing of the Bones is done with a woven hand-made natural fabric scarf, called Rebozo, meaning "an extension of loving hands". The ceremony originates from the old Mexican, Moroccan, and Slavic midwife traditions. These cultures acknowledged the altered state of consciousness the woman goes through during childbirth.
Childbirth is the most energetically charged place from which the relationship with your child is built. The woman opens up on a bodily and energetic level, to let the baby out and stays "open" after childbirth. She "splits," loses her integrity, and needs to be put back together again.
Rebozo massage is a gentle, and very effective technique based on rocking, vibration, twisting, light stretching, and compression. In the embrace of it, you will feel calm, safe, and warm, and your body and mind will relax. Applied in an atmosphere of a ceremony, you will be able to live the Birth again, accept and release the weight of it if you had unmet expectations and move into the Matriarch’s Rite of Passage.
Closing of the Bones is recommended to all women who have had traumatic experiences and fears related to pregnancy and childbirth, even if they were decades ago.
“I’ve known Videlina for some time now and, during my postpartum period, I could count on her to help me finally have some time for myself, where I could reconnect with my newly-delivered body and all that rain of emotions that appear with the arrivalof a baby.
As a new mother, we often forget the importance of looking at ourselves and only focus on that new little human being. But Videlina, with her sweet and empathetic way, led my postpartum care, with Moxa, feet reflexology and closing of the bones, which allowed me to fully embrace this new woman, now also a mother (with her joys, but also fears) that had arisen.
I chose her to have by my side during this period and I would do it again without thinking. Thank you, Videlina. ♥️”
Feet Reflex Massage
I offer foot reflexology as a way to honor the deep wisdom of motherhood carried through generations. In many ancestral traditions, the feet were seen as sacred ground — a place to connect, restore, and support a mother’s entire being. Reflexology allows me to care for not just the physical body, but the emotional and energetic layers too. It brings calm to the nervous system, gently restores balance, and reminds the mother that she is held — within the lineage of many mothers who walked this path before her.
“Videlina is the best!
I have done feet reflexology, holistic health and neuroplasticity coaching with her and have loved every single experience
For me feet reflexology is what I like the most, it’s a super powerful experience and brings so many good outcomes, apart from being such an enjoyable and peaceful moment!”
