Perinatal Holistic Care is about Re-Membering. It’s a return to the kind of support passed from lineage to lineage, rooted in tradition, initiation, love, and presence.
This wisdom once lived in families, in circles of women, in the rituals that honored birth and the transformation it brings. Today, much of that knowledge has been forgotten or pushed aside. There is a gap in our modern systems — not just in medical care, but in how we truly hold and care for parents during this sacred initiation.
My work service is to help fill that gap and create conditions for the wise tradition to pass over in modern times based on scientific researches.
For many years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with babies, toddlers, and families from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities. Through this work, I’ve built deep, trustful relationships with parents — who feel me as a very grounded, supportive presence for long term. What they sense most is the care I bring, and the depth with which I look at the well-being of both children and parents.
My path into perinatal holistic health deepened when I began researching the roots of illness — and time after time, it led back to motherhood: to how Mothers feel supported (or not), how they birth, if they are being held during the most vulnerable time. That realization changed everything. It inspired me to expand my knowledge, and to widen my offerings in support of the entire Family System.
What I’ve witnessed again and again is this: just as parents want the very best for their babies, they also begin to recognize their own deep need for care, presence, and support and the lack of it. The well-being of parents — especially in the tender perinatal period — is not a luxury. It is a cornerstone for healthy, resilient children and generations to come.
Holistic perinatal care, for me, is about supporting your whole being — body, mind, and spirit — through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the early parenting years. It’s care that helps you feel seen, held, and empowered as you grow your family.
The well being of families is the foundation of a thriving society.
And mothers are the soil — the living ground from which our culture grows. Mother-centered means nourishing the roots of resilience, belonging, and emotional health for generations to come.
The times are shifting. We are being called to remember, to reconnect, and to rebuild in a more nurturing way. Many things are developing, yet the human connection remains the main ingredient for humanity and that is why postpartum care is possible only with human presence and care.
“Meeting our human needs for community through authentic connection - is The most important element of Postpartum Restoration and Maternal Health.”
